• Working with conventional and CNC machinery producing precision components to fine tolerances

• Location: Various Melbourne Locations
• On Call Casual and planned maintenance
• Rate: $59.00 per hour $26 Daily Travel Allowance

• Location: Keilor East
• Day Shift
• Rate: $56.30 per hour Travel Allowance

Requirements:

• Heavy diesel experience
• Forklift licence
• HR drivers licence

Plus multiple additional opportunities becoming available every week.

• Perform maintenance repairs servicing and installation of industrial machinery and equipment
• Carry out preventative maintenance breakdown repairs and fault-finding activities
• Assist with shutdowns plant upgrades and equipment commissioning
• Read and interpret technical drawings schematics and work instructions
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures and quality standards
• Maintain a strong focus on safety productivity and workmanship

To be successful you will possess:

• Minimum 4 years experience as a Mechanical Fitter
• Relevant trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter Fitter & Turner or equivalent highly regarded)
• Experience working within manufacturing industrial processing or maintenance environments
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

• Basic electrical fault-finding experience
• Welding and fabrication skills
• Basic machining experience
• Computer literacy and maintenance reporting experience
• Shutdown project or plant maintenance experience
