Civmecis proud to be supporting theEneabba Rare Earths Refinery Projectin collaboration withIluka Resources delivering a major package of Structural Mechanical Piping Electrical and Instrumentation (SMPE&I) installation works across the facility.
As Australias first fully integrated rare earths refinery this landmark project is helping drive the future of critical minerals processing. We are building a skilled workforce to support the delivery of this exciting long-term project in WAs Mid-West.
We are currently seeking experiencedMechanical Fittersto join our Construction team and play a key role in the installation commissioning and maintenance of critical plant and equipment.
Location: Eneabba WA
Roster: 2 weeks on 1 week off (11.5 working days per swing)
Travel: Company-provided bus transport to and from site via Perth Airport
Casual Rates (from 21 September)
- Mechanical Fitter $65.00 per hour inclusive of 25% casual flat loading penalties $4.00 per hour site allowance
Full-Time Rates (from 21 September)
- Mechanical Fitter $52.00 per hour penalties
- $4.00 per hour site allowance
- $200 travel allowance per completed swing
- $100 per week project completion bonus accrual
- 1.75 hours severance accrual per completed week
Key Experience Required
- Maintenance and overhaul of pumps motors gearboxes compressors fans and blowers
- Carry out laser alignment of pumps motors and other rotating equipment.
- Complete shaft alignment coupling installation and balancing activities.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of hydraulic pneumatic and mechanical systems.
- Experience in major construction environments.
- Strong commitment to safety quality and compliance standards.
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
- RIIWHS204D or RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights (within 2 years of issue)
- RIIWHS202D or RIIWHS202E Enter and Work in Confined Space(within 2 years of issue)
- Previous experience on construction projects
- Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- High Risk Work Licence (EWP) Preferred although not mandatory
