Mechanical Craftsman

About the role

As a Mechanical Craftsman youll support the installation maintenance and repair of mechanical plant and equipment across Councils water and wastewater assets. Youll work on pumps valves pipework and treatment equipment helping ensure reliable service delivery for the community. The role also involves fault finding responding to breakdowns and participating in an on-call roster.

About you

You hold a relevant mechanical trade qualification (e.g. Fitter/Machinist/Mechanic) and bring proven experience in maintenance fitting fabrication and/or welding. Youre a practical problem-solver with strong safety awareness able to work both independently and as part of a team using modern tools and systems.

• Competitive Salary (from $65k pa) depending on your capabilities and experience allowances 12% superannuation
• Permanent Full Time 38 hours per week
• Base location at Marcia Street Depot Coffs Harbour with work across various sites
