About the role:
Loyola College is seeking a passionate and qualified teacher to join our dynamic team as a Mathematics / Science Teacher. This Fixed Term / Full-Time role is based in Watsonia Victoria and will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality mathematics and science education to our students.
What youll be doing:
- Designing and delivering engaging Mathematics and Science lessons for secondary school students
- Creating and implementing innovative teaching strategies to support student learning and achievement
- Assessing student progress and providing timely feedback to ensure continuous improvement
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum materials
- Contributing to the broader life of the school community through extracurricular activities
What were looking for:
- Relevant teaching qualifications and registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Experience at the secondary education level
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students parents and colleagues
- A passion for maths and science education and a commitment to student-centred learning
