Marketing Coordinator
Job Summary
We make great BBQ. You market it even better.
Weve got a stunning restaurant in Red Hill a Pit Stop in Seaford products events specials a great team and a whole lot of very photogenic food. Now we need someone who can turn all of that into great marketing.
Were looking for a creative switched-on Marketing Coordinator to join us two days a week and take ownership of marketing across Red Gum BBQ.
And when we say take ownership we mean it.
We dont want to be chasing you asking Are we posting anything today
We want you chasing us saying:
I need 10 minutes with the chef I have an idea for a reel.
Why arent we talking about this
Please stop eating that. I need to photograph it first.
That person. We want that person.
So what will you actually be doing
Youll own our socials create content shoot reels write copy build EDMs manage Meta ads keep our website fresh and make some noise around events specials and products.
Youll spend time at both Red Hill and Seaford getting to know what makes each location tick and finding the stories worth telling.
And while we love making things look good we also want marketing that works getting people through the door making bookings visiting our venues and buying our products.
You might be our person if
You know your way around Instagram and Facebook can make a great reel and know Meta Ads well enough to understand that we boosted it isnt a marketing strategy.
You can write copy that sounds like a human wrote it youre comfortable with EDMs websites and Canva and youre organised enough to have a content calendar but flexible enough to run with a better idea when it comes along.
Most importantly you bring ideas.
We want someone who gets to know Red Gum understands what were trying to achieve and says Ive got an idea often.
The important stuff
This is a part-time role 2 days per week with your two working days to be chosen from Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and Friday (not weekends unfortunately) The role works across both our Red Hill and Seaford locations. Youll need to be great at deciding what matters most and where your time will have the biggest impact.
Hospitality food lifestyle or consumer brand experience would be great but its not a deal-breaker. Were much more interested in great creative instincts good energy and someone who gets things done.
Youll have plenty of freedom to bring ideas to the table plenty of content to work with and arguably most importantly a lot of very photogenic brisket.
