Establish close and integrated ties with operating business units by implementing applications and integration to help the business improve efficiency reduce cost and support business growth as well as supporting effective day-to-day running of all operations as defined by the TCO Area Head. Be the technical lead on major implementations providing support and mentorship to other TCO colleagues. Provide higher technical input for TCO specialists on support and change issues. Deputise where necessary for area TCO leadership. Support the region with the provision of training to other TCO colleagues.
Key responsibilities
Work with business and operational teams to understand their requirements to implement and deliver any appropriate IT solutions
Carry out full implementation from design solution development testing and go-live
Coordinate with other TCO specialists Global teams and extended Maersk colleagues to deliver any development or customisation if necessary
Produce functional requirements project plans system configuration and test plans when being the lead SME on a project
Perform configuration on supported applications needed to run operations including all peripheral applications and devices.
Conduct training to super-users and project team members where necessary
Develop the TCO team to upskill them
Working with AOT and other Maersk Teams to ensure the smooth implementation of IT services and infrastructure
Handle any change requirements
Attend any business review meetings with potential new or existing customers and gather/understand/follow-up areas of concern and improvement where applicable
Review existing implementations and find any improvement opportunities where applicable
Ensure any issues reported are attended until closed
Manage service level KPI and escalations
Where necessary act as a senior SME during major incidents
Support any disaster recovery and system testing if needed
Support any system migration and upgrade
Primary internal stakeholders
The person must be able to work with other TCO specialists within the region to prioritise projects or tasks and leading the local TCO team to work with relevant parties to deliver them.
The person will need to work closely with operational heads for any implementations and also assist in the smooth running of the operations
Required qualification experience & skills
5 to 8 years Implementing managing and supporting warehouse management systems and daily work using Bl analysis tools
Proven hands-on experience in Infor SCE or Exceed WMS is essential.
Experience in MS SQL or any SQL language
Experienced in delivering AMR ACR and ASRS projects within warehouse and logistics environments.
Possess strong business knowledge of supply chain execution in the following verticals:
Distribution centre services in warehouse operations and contract logistics (must have)
Transport management
Experience in organizing and managing major IT projects such as system updates migrations upgrades outages
Experienced in delivering AMR ACR and Mult shuttle automation projects within warehouse and logistics environments.
Possess knowledge in Project Management
Track record of delivering high engagement within teams
Certification in Project management is an added advantage (PMP Prince-2 etc.)
Required Business/ Technical Knowledge
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong collaboration skills
