The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Manager or Senior Manager to join our Forensic team in Sydney. This role offers the opportunity to build your profile in a specialist expert witness and disputes practice working on complex high-value matters alongside respected industry practitioners. You will be exposed to a diverse range of engagements have the autonomy to take ownership of significant client work and play a key role in the continued growth and success of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead expert witness forensic accounting and disputes advisory engagements
- Prepare and review expert reports financial analyses valuations and financial models
- Manage client legal adviser and other stakeholder relationships throughout engagements
- Analysis of commercial issues for expert witness with a focus on valuation corporate finance loss analysis and diligence
- Lead coach and develop junior team members
- Support business development and contribute to the growth of the practice
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships through exceptional client service and technical expertise.
About You
- CA CPA CFA or equivalent professional qualification
- Significant experience in forensic accounting disputes advisory valuations transaction services or a related advisory environment
- Strong accounting financial analysis and financial modelling capabilities
- Excellent report writing and communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly
- Proven experience leading engagements managing client relationships and mentoring team members
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to exercise sound judgement in complex and sensitive matters.
