Whats the role
Want to make a real impact across one of Australias largest financial institutions Join our Enterprise Functions Assurance team and help strengthen the way Westpac manages risk across Finance People Legal & Secretariat Group Sustainability and Risk.
As a Manager youll support independent assurance reviews that provide valuable insights into how risks are identified managed and remediated. Youll explore end to end processes test controls uncover opportunities for improvement and work closely with stakeholders from across the organisation. No two reviews are the same giving you exposure to a broad range of business activities and helping you build a well-rounded risk and assurance skillset.

What do I need
- 4 years experience in assurance internal audit operational risk or risk advisory ideally within banking or financial services
- Experience assessing risks controls and remediation outcomes including control design and operating effectiveness testing
- Strong critical thinking and ability to provide independent review and constructive challenge
- Experience conducting root cause analysis and identifying systemic issues control weaknesses and improvement opportunities
- Strong stakeholder engagement influencing and communication skills including the ability to translate complex findings into clear insights
- Experience performing data analytics-based testing or automated control testing is highly desirable
