- Salary relative to experience and ranges from $154231 to $178369 super and leave loading
Our Energy Climate Change and Sustainability Group are currently seeking to appoint a Manager Energy Policy and Reform to provide policy advice on system-wide energy policy matters and lead and manage a team in the development delivery and implementation of NSW-based and national energy policy initiatives and reforms that support Government commitments to enable the transition to an affordable reliable and low emissions energy system.
About You
You are a strategic policy leader with demonstrated experience in government policy development regulatory reform and the assessment of complex legislative frameworks. Your experience spans energy markets and network infrastructure where you have consistently driven priority outcomes through strategic analysis collaborative stakeholder engagement and the design of evidence-based policy solutions in complex and changing environments.
You are experienced in managing staff driving the delivery of high-quality advice to senior executives and ministers balancing policy priorities regulatory requirements and diverse stakeholder interests. Skilled at influencing across agencies and jurisdictions you proactively address barriers to reform and implementation. You are an exceptional communicator able to translate complex policy issues into clear concise and accessible advice briefs and reports that support informed decision-making and successful policy outcomes.
