About the role
As AEMOs senior Employee and Industrial Relations Manager you will influence critical workforce decisions guide complex industrial and employee relations matters and partner with leaders to navigate change with confidence. Leading enterprise bargaining workforce risk and ER/IR strategy you will play a pivotal role in shaping a compliant high-performing and future-ready organisation.
What you will be doing
- Lead the development prioritisation and delivery of enterprise ER/IR initiatives aligned to the Workplace Relations strategic agenda and broader organisational objectives.
- Act as the trusted senior advisor to executives leaders and HRBPs on complex employee and industrial relations matters providing commercially sound and risk-informed guidance.
- Lead AEMOs enterprise bargaining strategy including negotiation planning stakeholder engagement representation in bargaining discussions and delivery of negotiated outcomes.
- Lead and manage complex ER casework disputes and investigations including Fair Work Commission and other external matters where required.
- Proactively influence educate and coach leaders to build organisational capability in workplace relations early risk identification and effective people decision-making.Oversee the review and application of industrial instruments policies and practices to ensure legislative award and enterprise agreement compliance.
- Partner across People & Culture and the business to shape and embed initiatives that strengthen workplace relations outcomes governance and operational effectiveness.
What you will bring to the role
- Degree qualified in Human Resources Employee Relations Law or a related discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Contemporary knowledge of employee and industrial relations trends and the ability to translate external developments into practical People & Culture strategies and business outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of ER/IR legislation industrial instruments compliance obligations and case management approaches.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs or projects end-to-end ideally across complex multi-divisional environments.
- Strong understanding of change management principles and the ER/IR implications of organisational change consultation and implementation.
- Well-developed understanding of broader HR disciplines and the interdependencies across policy remuneration organisational development talent and employee experience.
- Highly developed stakeholder management capability with the credibility to influence and build trusted relationships at senior levels.
