WHAT ARE WE OFFERING
We are offering an exciting leadership opportunity to shape and strengthen communications across one of South Australias largest regional health networks. As Manager of Communications you will lead strategic communication initiatives that support local regional and statewide health services providing expert advice across media digital internal communications and brand management. Working closely with senior leaders SA Health partners and key stakeholders youll play a pivotal role in delivering clear timely and impactful communications that enhance community confidence support organisational priorities and help drive positive outcomes for the communities we serve.

This role allows for flexibility to work from any of our BHFLHN sites by negotiation or the ability to work remotely and benefit from the work-life balance this provides.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Are you an experienced communications leader who can develop and deliver strategic communication initiatives that align with organisational priorities and support complex service environments
- Can you provide trusted high-level advice to senior executives on media communications risks emerging issues and stakeholder engagement particularly in a large and dynamic organisation
- Do you have exceptional writing editing and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear engaging and audience-focused communications across multiple channels
- Are you confident leading media relations issues management and critical event communications ensuring messages are timely accurate consistent and aligned with broader SA Health objectives
- Can you build strong relationships across diverse stakeholders lead a high-performing communications team and foster a collaborative innovative and continuously improving communications function

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE
You will.
- Lead the strategic planning and delivery of communications across BHFLHN RSS and RRMHS ensuring messaging is aligned with organisational priorities and SA Health objectives.
- Provide expert communications advice to senior leaders supporting effective management of media stakeholder engagement emerging issues and reputational risk.
- Oversee media relations issues management and critical event communications ensuring information is accurate timely coordinated and responsive.
- Drive the development and continuous improvement of digital social media and internal communication channels using data and insights to enhance engagement and reach.
- Build strong partnerships across BHFLHN SA Health and government stakeholders while leading a high-performing communications function that promotes collaboration innovation and continuous improvement.
