The opportunity

We are seeking a Manager to join our Audit team in Melbourne. Youll help our clients meet their reporting requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing meaningful insights into accounting and reporting return you can expect leading-edge learning and development tailored to your unique interests and motivations. This position isbased in Naarm MelbourneOur roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

• Manage the audit engagement by defining audit strategy in consultation with the Senior Manager / Partner and executing it in compliance with our policies and protocols.
• Effectively manage the Audit process with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters.
• Lead and manage fieldwork on clients sites including liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth delivery of the Audit process.
• Expertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and in related financial reporting matters.

Skills and attributes for success

• Proven experience in delivering external audit and assurance engagements.

• Experience leading the planning execution and reporting on audits.

• Proven track record with developing and maintaining client relationships.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to management.

• A strong academic record including a degree and progress towards/completion of a recognised accounting qualification (CA CPA ACCA).
