A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Manager Architecture Wireless System reporting to Executive Manager Fixed Wireless Architecture to lead the evolution ofEMS platforms network automation and telemetry architectureunderpinning the Fixed Wireless network.
A bit about your role
As Manager Fixed Wireless Systems Architecture you will:
- Lead the evolution of EMS and network management platformstoward cloud-native API-driven architectures
- Drivenetwork automation strategy and implementation reducing manual operations and improving operational efficiency at scale
- Define and deliverend-to-end telemetry architectureto enable real-time visibility observability and performance optimisation
- Architect and enabledata streaming platforms (e.g. Kafka-based pipelines)for real-time analytics and event-driven operations
- Ensuretight integration between RAN transport and core systemsthrough standardised APIs and microservices-based designs
- Provide technical leadership fornext-generation operational capabilities including closed-loop automation and AI-driven network optimisation
- Align all architecture decisions tobusiness outcomesnetwork performance cost efficiency resilience and compliance
In this role you will work closely with customers partners and cross-functional teams to shape and deliver solutions that are both technically robust and commercially aligned. You will foster collaboration across diverse workstreams ensuring large-scale telecommunications programs are delivered with discipline care and a strong sense of shared purpose. Your leadership will help create an environment where teams feel supported to contribute their best while delivering outcomes that strengthen connectivity for communities across Australia.
A bit about you
If this sounds like the role for you you will bring deep experience in service provider telecommunications with a strong foundation in network architecture systems engineering and RF-based broadband technologies. You are comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity drawing on your experience across large-scale programs to guide decision-making and deliver meaningful outcomes. Your technical expertise spans carrier-grade networking environments and you have a well-developed appreciation of how network design supports broader business objectives.
You are a thoughtful and inclusive leader who values collaboration and builds trusted relationships with stakeholders vendors and teams alike. With a calm and considered approach you bring people together communicate with clarity and create shared understanding across technical and non-technical audiences.
