Working alongside an experienced finance leadership team youll help strengthen reporting budgeting and commercial analysis while partnering closely with operational stakeholders across the business. Continued growth has created the need to further strengthen the finance team with an ongoing focus on improving systems reporting and commercial decision support.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Finance Manager youll work across a broad range of responsibilities including:
• Preparing monthly management reporting budgeting and forecasting
• Delivering meaningful financial analysis and commercial insights
• Partnering with operational stakeholders to support business decision making
• Monitoring project performance costs and profitability
• Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes and financial controls
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function

Candidate Profile

• You may already be working as a Management Accountant within industry or perhaps youre looking to make your first move from public practice into a commercial environment.
• Were looking for someone with strong accounting fundamentals advanced Excel skills and a genuine interest in understanding how a business operates beyond the numbers.
• CA or CPA qualification or working towards will be highly regarded.
• Experience within construction property manufacturing mining or another project-based environment will be viewed favourably however it isnt essential.
• Just as importantly youre commercially curious enjoy building relationships and are comfortable working in a business that is continuing to evolve.
• You take ownership communicate confidently with stakeholders and enjoy improving processes rather than simply maintaining them.
