APEM Group has a great permanent opportunity for a management accounting professional to join our Finance team in Brisbane.

The Management Accountant is a key business support role working to support the Finance team and directly reporting to the Financial Controller. The main duties of the role include assisting in the preparation and reconciliation of management accounts supporting month-end close procedures fixed asset register maintenance forecast support and contributing to continuous process improvement of our finance processes.

This role is an excellent opportunity for an accountant to join a growing business further your career and make a meaningful impact in a supportive and collaborative environment.

This role also involves exciting business integration projects as the businesses within the group migrate financial systems and create more efficient financial processes.

The role is based in our Brisbane office close to the CBD and easily accessible by publictransport.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Tertiary qualifications in accountancy finance or business administration (or an equivalent discipline). Part-qualified or fully qualified accountants welcome.
• A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
• Excellent communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• An understanding of financial statements and accounting standards.
• An intermediate level of MS Excel competency (such as the use of accountancy formulas).
• Strong organisation and team-coordination skills.
• You must have the right to work in Australia to apply for this job.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in multiple accounting systems desirable.
