Purpose That Counts.
The Major Works and Logistics Coordinator role is responsible for scoping major works across the Regional Assets West team ensuring work requirements are clearly defined before execution. You will play a critical role as the link between the planning and operational teams by supporting the planning function coordinating work delivery and driving compliance preventative maintenance and quality assurance activities to ensure work is completed safely efficiently and to a high standard.

People Who Count. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • demonstrated experience as a Track Inspector or equivalent with a strong technical understanding of railway track and structures.
  • strong knowledge of rail compliance requirements including patrols and inspections with a proven ability to scope and define work requirements.
  • a solid understanding of contractor engagement and management ensuring work is delivered safely efficiently and to the required safety standard.
  • excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across a diverse workforce from frontline operational teams to corporate stakeholders.
  • strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage competing demands and focus on critical maintenance and compliance activities.
  • a commitment to quality assurance continuous improvement and the delivery of safe and compliant outcomes.

A Track Inspector qualification is highly regarded. An open QLD Drivers Licence is mandatory.
