We are looking for a special kind of person a St Vincents kind of person. Someone who puts compassion connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do.
As a Maintenance Officer youll be part of an experienced engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming professional and supportive care experience for the residents of our Hawthorn facility.
St Vincents Care Services Hawthorn (locally known as Mary Mackillop Aged Care) is a 91-bed facility located in Hawthorn East just 7km from Melbournes city centre with the added convenience of Camberwell Junction right around the corner.

Monday-Friday
8am-4pm
Things that work for us:
Trade qualifications in carpentry or plumbing (preferable).
Ability to perform maintenance works.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to problem solve
Ability to prioritise own schedule of activities.
Aged Health or Community care experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills strong attention to detail and sound computer skills.
Understanding of Aged Care resident rights and responsibilities and ability to follow directives as per care plan.
Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (within 6 months).
NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
