Whats on offer

Fulton Hogan is proud to have been awarded the Victorian Road Maintenance Contract with the Department of Transport and Planning starting 1 July 2026.

This means we will be on the ground delivering critical road construction maintenance and resurfacing works throughout the Loddon Mallee Region including:

• Working on planned maintenance programs designed for long-term performance
• Rebuilding and rehabilitating major road sections
• Delivering high-quality resurfacing works across priority networks
• Responding to urgent repairs to keep roads operational

As a result Fulton Hogan is looking for a Maintenance Manager (South) based in Kyneton Bendigo or Echuca who will be responsible for managing the planning implementation and monitoring of routine and planned maintenance activities within the VRMC region ensuring continual compliance with traffic management requirements all relevant legislation and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead motivate and develop teams to successfully deliver programs projects and agreed outcomes.
• Manage planning scheduling resources and budgets in line with delivery plans and timeframes.
• Build strong relationships and negotiate effective outcomes with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead traffic management operations including inspections audits incident investigations and endorsement of Traffic Management Plans and Traffic Guidance Schemes.
• Allocate and manage suitably qualified resources across all traffic management activities.
  Drive safety excellence through proactive risk identification real-time problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

• You have strong communication interpersonal and negotiation skills with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
• You demonstrate a clear commitment to occupational health and safety and an understanding of Road Management Act obligations.
• You are customer-focused and dedicated to delivering outcomes that meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.

You will hold a Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Business Management or related disciplines and have a minimum of 10 years relevant operational experience.
