Everything here is designed to bring out the best in our team and our this role youll focus primarily on the general upkeep of our grounds while also assisting with maintenance 70% of your time will be dedicated to grounds care and 30% to general Responsibilities:Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipmentPerform minor repairs and routine maintenance on tools and machineryMaintain outdoor spaces including carparks footpaths and decking areasMonitor and implement nutrient programs to support plant healthMaintain and clean the swimming pool in line with safety standardsInspect grounds for hazards and complete required repairsRemove rubbish and debris and maintain outdoor signage and lightingAssist with general maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance SupervisorDrive the village bus when required (valid drivers licence preferred)About YouYou will bring experience as a grounds person maintenance assistant or a similar handson role along with the following:Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasksGood communication and teamwork skillsHigh attention to detail and a strong commitment to safetyBasic computer literacy (Excel Word Outlook apps)Understanding of machinery and tools used in grounds and maintenance workCurrent Australian drivers licenceCurrent First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)Ability to take initiative work independently and contribute to a teamInternal training and onsite inductions will be to Join the FunIf you take pride in keeping spaces clean safe and welcoming wed love to hear from you!
