Logistics Supervisor
Job Summary
We are partnering with a global organisation in the manufacturing and supply chain space to recruit a Logistics Supervisor based in Sydney (Macquarie Park).
This is a full-time opportunity offering strong stability hands-on leadership exposure and the chance to play a key role in driving operational performance within a growing team.
Pay: $70000 $75000 Super Duration: Permanent full-time role
Location: Macquarie Park Sydney NSW
Hours: Monday to Friday standard business hours (with flexibility as required to support operations)
This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth end-to-end processes while leading and supporting a small team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing end-to-end warehouse operations (receiving storage picking packing dispatch and returns)
- Managing inventory accuracy through stock control cycle counts and reporting
- Coordinating shipments deliveries and order fulfilment to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Leading mentoring and supporting warehouse staff on a day-to-day basis
- Allocating tasks monitoring performance and supporting team development
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to drive operational efficiency
- Maintaining accurate records across internal systems (SAP and other logistics platforms)
- Liaising with internal stakeholders (customer service accounts) and external partners
- Ensuring compliance with WHS standards and company procedures
- Have previous experience in a logistics warehouse or supply chain environment
- Demonstrate leadership or supervisory experience (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Be comfortable working in a hands-on operational role
- Have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Be proactive with a problem-solving mindset and ability to improve processes
- Have strong attention to detail particularly with inventory and reporting
- Be technically capable with exposure to systems such as SAP or similar (highly regarded)
