As our highly valued Lifestyle Coordinator you will enhance the wellbeing independence and quality of life of residents through coordinating the provision of a meaningful and engaging lifestyle program. You will also be responsible for coordinating the homes volunteer program to enhance resident engagement and connection.

Youll also make an impact by:

  • Delivering person-centred lifestyle services that promote residents physical emotional cultural spiritual cognitive and social wellbeing
  • Building meaningful relationships with residents to understand their life history preferences strengths goals and support needs
  • Designing coordinating and implementing an inclusive lifestyle program that reflects resident choice and aligns with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of resident participation attendance preferences and outcomes
  • Conducting regular evaluations of the lifestyle program using resident feedback surveys observations audits quality indicators and participation data
  • Coordinating the recruitment selection onboarding and ongoing support of volunteers
  • Providing leadership guidance and support to Lifestyle Assistants

What youll bring

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
  • Minimum 12 months experience working within aged care disability community services or a related sector
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and person centred care principles
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and electronic documentation systems
  • Experience supporting older people and/or vulnerable individuals
  • Strong interpersonal communication organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to lead coordinate and motivate staff and volunteers
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in program planning evaluation and quality improvement activities
  • Drivers Licence
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or willing to obtain one

Youll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:

  • Degree level qualification in Leisure and Health Community Services Social Work or related field
  • Certificate III in Aged Care
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Experience coordinating volunteers or community engagement program
