Job Summary

Were seeking an analytical innovative and data-driven marketing professional to spearhead our customer engagement initiatives at Amazon Australia.

As a key member of our AU Customer Lifecycle Marketing Team youll develop and deliver engagement programs that delight our customers and deepen their relationship with Amazon. Youll design test and scale engagement strategies across Amazons digital landscape including our homepage cross-site placements email push notifications and custom landing pages to increase customer adoption of key shopping benefits.

In this role you will:

- Lead with data: Dive deep into customer data using SQL analytics dashboards and other analytical tools to uncover actionable insights that inform campaign strategy and team decision-making. Youll be the person who proactively explores data to find the why behind customer behavior not just report on it.

- Embrace AI and emerging tools: Leverage generative AI and other emerging technologies to accelerate analysis generate insights and optimize marketing workflows. Curiosity about whats possible with new tools is a must.

- Drive international collaboration and program management: Partner closely with international teams especially other emerging marketplaces to coordinate new product rollouts and launches for AU customers.

- Share and scale: Identify and adopt best practices from global and emerging-marketplace peers share insights with senior leadership and cross-share learnings to drive impact beyond AU.

Key job responsibilities
- Proactively analyse customer data using SQL dashboards and analytical tools to gain deep customer behavior insights identify at-risk segments surface opportunities and develop targeted marketing campaigns

- Explore and leverage AI tools (including generative AI) to streamline data analysis generate insights and enhance campaign performance

- Distil data findings into clear actionable insights and share them with the broader team and senior leadership to inform strategic decisions

- Plan design and execute cross-channel marketing initiatives that drive customer cohort progression engagement adoption of new shopping behaviors and repeat purchasing

- Support experimental testing and contribute to test-and-learn initiatives to uncover key insights and inform future campaigns

- Develop segmentation models for retargeting key segments with lifecycle offers and messaging

- Build and manage campaigns that drive high-value actions (HVA) and repeat purchases; report on individual campaign results and bigger-picture trends

- Collaborate with international teams especially emerging marketplaces to coordinate new product rollouts and launches managing the program end-to-end from global stakeholder alignment through to local AU execution

- Document best practices in execution and reporting that will serve as a model for partner teams

- 8 years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience building executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience with customer segmentation profiling and targeting

- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation macros charts and pivot tables)
- Experience creating and managing complex cross-team project plans
