What youll do
As a Legal Counsel in Aurecons Legal & Governance team youll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges welcomes diverse ideas and solutions with people and outcomes in mind.

• Advise on Aurecons project engagements (construction advisory and digital) including contract review negotiation and dispute management
• Provide legal risk and governance advice as required to the business including senior leadership
• Collaborate with client project teams and internal stakeholders across projects and enterprise functions
• Management of external law firms
• Training on legal and governance matters to Aurecon employees

What youll bring

• You will be admitted to practice law in NSW or Victoria (based in Sydney or Melbourne) with 4 - 6 years PQE (ideally with a mix of private practice and in-house experience)
• Broad legal knowledge of construction and engineering law experience with cyber data and AI requirements and litigation
• You will demonstrate the ability to make the complex simple and work with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced matrix organisation
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills with a proven ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Commercial and pragmatic approach with strong communication collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
