Casual Legal Administration Role Ideal for Law Students

Were excited to offer an opportunity for a law student to join our Sydney office as part of our National Float/Rotations Team. This flexible role is perfect for students who want to build hands-on experience in a law firm while balancing study and other commitments.

Youll have the chance to work across a range of practice groups providing high-quality administrative support and gaining valuable exposure to different areas of law.

About the Role

This role is designed with flexibility in mind typically offering 23 days per week onsite. As part of our national support team youll receive structured training and develop practical skills that are essential for a future legal career.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will assist with a variety of legal administrative and secretarial tasks including:

Preparing and collating legal documents including hyperlinked indexes
Editing formatting and finalising documents
Saving and profiling documents in our document management system
General document handling: scanning filing printing and photocopying
Opening and closing client files
Conducting InfoTrack searches and assisting with court lodgements
Attending/assisting with property settlements
Managing incoming and outgoing mail
Supporting billing expenses and other general finance tasks.

About You

Were looking for someone who is:

Proactive adaptable and eager to learn
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Confident using Outlook and Microsoft Office.
