Lecturer (Teaching Focused) in Dentistry

We are seeking candidates for the role of Lecturer (Teaching Focused) in Dentistry. The successful candidate will be expected to make informed contributions to the teaching effort of the School of Medicine and Dentistry and to carry out activities to maintain and develop scholarly and/or professional activities relevant to the disciplines within dentistry and oral health.

At a level B a Teaching Focused Lecturer is expected to perform the full academic responsibilities and related administration in support of the development coordination and delivery of courses in dentistry and oral health. The incumbent will also contribute to the broader mission of the School through scholarly and service activities as negotiated with their Academic Supervisor.

This is a continuing part-time (60%) position based at Griffith University Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.

Griffith Universitys campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul Yuggera Jagera Turrbal Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level B range $117076 - $139031 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $136979 - $162667 per annum.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role candidates will need to possess:

• A doctoral or masters degree in Oral Medicine or a closely related field and/or demonstrable substantial experience in teaching Oral Medicine at the undergraduate and post graduate level.
• Registration or eligibility for registration as a dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra).
