The role

• Full Time Fixed Term (until 23 July 2027)
• Level B - $113841 to $134965 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
• Bathurst Canberra or Wagga Wagga (remote work considered for the right candidate)

As a Lecturer in Terrorism Studies you will deliver engaging high-quality teaching across undergraduate postgraduate and professional education programs preparing students to address complex and evolving security challenges.

Drawing on your expertise in terrorism security and contemporary threat environments you will coordinate subjects develop innovative curriculum and create meaningful learning experiences across online and on-campus delivery. Youll collaborate with colleagues industry and government partners to ensure teaching remains practical relevant and informed by current professional practice while contributing to the ongoing success and growth of the School.

About you

• A qualification in terrorism studies security criminology or a related field.
• Passion for delivering engaging student-centred learning experiences.
• Current knowledge of terrorism security and emerging threat environments.
• Ability to translate professional expertise into practical relevant teaching.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and industry.
