About the Team:

The College of Sport Health and Engineering offers a variety of courses ranging from undergraduate degrees through to doctoral studies. The College operates mainly within the Footscray Park Campus.

Our team of dedicated psychology academics deliver high quality teaching in our accredited programs across both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and conduct research with impact for communities and individuals locally and globally.

About the Role:

The role of Lecturer in Psychology will comprise of teaching unit convening and curriculum development in the Psychology Discipline. The development and implementation of innovative teaching methods which align with contemporary practice will also be features of this role.


Position Key Duties:

  • Developandimplementhighqualityandinnovativeteachingmaterialsandpractices

  • Contributetothestudentexperienceinprogramsasrequiredincludingcourseconveningunitconvening and industry relationships

  • Participateinprofessionaldevelopmentactivitiesandundertakescholarlyreviewofteachingmethods and practices

  • ConductresearchinaccordancewithVUResearchexpectationsforthe relevantlevelofappointment which may include supervision of student theses as appropriate.

  • Classification and Salary:Academic Level B $113221 - $134449 per annum 17% employer superannuation
  • Employment Type:Full time Fixed term commencing January 2027
  • Hours per Week:36.75
  • Location:Footscray Park
