Lecturer in Physiotherapy Multiple Practice Areas

The role

• Fixed full time and part time positions available
• Multiple positions are available in the following areas of practice:

  • General with Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (Full time role available)

  • Neurological Physiotherapy (Full time role available)

  • Paediatric Physiotherapy (Part time roles available)

• Academic Level B - $113841 to $134965 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
• Location: Albury-Wodonga or Port Macquarie

We are seeking experienced physiotherapy professionals to join the School of Allied Health Exercise and Sports Sciences to actively deliver high quality teaching contribute to curriculum development and foster student engagement using blended subject delivery modes. The successful candidates must have the capacity to teach across a range of areas of physiotherapy practice a commitment to regional rural and remote health and practice research experience and capacity and willingness to contribute to supporting workplace integrated learning for physiotherapy students in collaboration with the workplace integrated learning team.

You will play a key role in blended learning delivery course design and industry engagement while maintaining an active professional profile aligned with contemporary physiotherapy practice.

The successful candidates must have substantial experience in one of the following areas:

• Paediatrics physiotherapy practice - Albury and Port Macquarie Campus
• Neurological physiotherapy including rehabilitation and management of complex presentations - Port Macquarie Campus
• General with musculoskeletal physiotherapy practice and persistent pain management - Albury Campus

About you

• A qualification relevant to physiotherapy appropriate to the level being applied for or equivalent accreditation and standing
• Current practising registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra)
• Sound knowledge of the discipline including digital health and culturally safe health care and experience in physiotherapy practice and research in rural and regional contexts
• Substantial experience in general physiotherapy practice OR neurological physiotherapy including rehabilitation and management of complex presentations OR paediatric physiotherapy practice in an Australian context.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality student-centred learning and teaching
