About the role
We are seeking a passionate organised and innovative Learning & Development Coordinator to drive learning excellence across our organisation. As the Learning & Development Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in shaping and coordinating learning and development initiatives across SWAMS.
Working closely with managers program coordinators subject matter experts and key stakeholders you will ensure our workforce has access to high-quality learning opportunities that support compliance professional growth and organisational capability. You will oversee our learning systems coordinate mandatory and core competency training support learning delivery teams and contribute to the development and co-design of engaging learning content.
This pivotal roleis responsible for:
- Identify and implement skills development plans and programs
- Coordinate regular skills development needs analysis
- Design and maintain a matrix of essential skills for each job role within SWAMS
- Support Coordinators and Managers to develop training plans for employees
- Establish strong working relationships with RTOs/TAFEs and training providers within the regional
- Develop and implement a Leadership Development Program for current and aspiring future leaders
- Develop establish and maintain a mentoring program
- Reporting on training effectiveness and deliverables to funding bodies
About you
You are a proactive and collaborative learning professional who enjoys working with people and driving positive organisational outcomes.
- Be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent
- Have experience in Learning and Development Training Human Resources Organisational Development or a related field.
- Have strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Reside in the South West with local knowledge about the community
- Have excellent organisational communication and project coordination abilities.
- Have the ability to take direction determine priorities and manage workloads in order to meet agreed timelines and objectives
