The Opportunity
Were working with a well-established landscape construction company delivering high-quality commercial and civil projects across the Gold Coast.
Theyre looking for an experienced Leading Hand who can take ownership on-site lead a small crew and ensure projects are delivered safely efficiently and to a high standard.
This is a hands-on leadership role youll still be on the tools while guiding your team and keeping projects moving.

- Permanent full-time role with long-term project pipeline
- Company dual cab ute provided
- Average 41-42 hour weeks occasional up to 45 hours
- Mix of day and occasional night works depending on project requirements
- Uniforms PPE and tools supplied
- Supportive leadership team with career progression opportunities
What Youll Be Doing
- Leading and coordinating a small team on-site
- Allocating daily tasks across planting mulching soil works and general construction
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within timeframes
- Maintaining strong safety practices and running daily pre-starts
- Monitoring site quality and fixing issues before they become problems
- Keeping the site clean organised and running efficiently
- Civil landscaping & infrastructure works
- Streetscape upgrades
- Commercial landscape installations
Requirements
What Were Looking For
- Experience in landscape construction or civil landscaping
- Previous experience as a Leading Hand or stepping up into one
- Strong understanding of site safety and SWMS
- Ability to lead from the front and keep a team on track
- Good communication and attention to detail
- Reliable motivated and takes pride in quality work
