As Leader Large Customer Connection Projects you will lead the delivery of a portfolio of complex customer connection and network projects that are critical to Tasmanias energy future. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely efficiently and commercially while meeting customer commitments regulatory requirements and TasNetworks strategic objectives.
Leading a team of project managers you will provide direction governance and oversight across all project delivery activities including design construction and commissioning. You will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders drive continuous improvement in project delivery practices and develop team capability to ensure the successful delivery of current and future customer connection projects.
Responsibilities also include:
Lead the delivery of large customer connection and associated network projects ensuring outcomes are achieved safely on time within budget and to the required quality standards.
Provide leadership and oversight across project governance scheduling risk management financial performance and resource planning ensuring effective decision-making and delivery outcomes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers contractors and internal stakeholders providing clear communication and managing customer and stakeholder expectations throughout project lifecycles.
Develop coach and support a high-performing project delivery team while driving continuous improvement in project management practices systems and processes.
About you
You are an experienced leader with a proven track record delivering complex construction projects with utility or infrastructure business. You bring strong project delivery capability including risk budget and governance management and thrive in environments where balancing competing priorities and achieving outcomes is critical.
You are a collaborative relationship builder with a sound understanding of transmission and distribution network operations and the ability to work effectively across technical operational and customer-facing environments. With strong commercial and stakeholder engagement skills you use data and systems to support decision-making lead high-performing teams and deliver exceptional outcomes for customers and stakeholders.
Youll also bring:
Demonstrated experience leading large complex projects in the utility or infrastructure sector with the ability to build high-performing teams and foster a positive accountable culture.
Strong project delivery capability including planning scheduling risk management financial oversight and governance while managing competing priorities and driving results.
Sound understanding of transmission and distribution networks field operations and technical drawings with the ability to work effectively across technical and operational environments.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills supported by strong commercial acumen and experience using enterprise systems to support project delivery and decision-making.
