We are currently seeking a Lead or Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in Perth. Reporting to the General Manager Engineering this role is suited to an experienced engineer who can provide technical leadership while managing the successful delivery of complex projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients overseeing engineering design project execution and technical outcomes while also contributing to business development through relationship management opportunity identification and supporting the continued growth of our engineering capability and project portfolio.
In this role you willbe responsible for and have the following qualifications and/or skills:
The successful candidate will be a well-rounded engineering professional with strong technical project delivery and leadership skills capable of managing multiple project scopes simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality and client service.
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering with Chartered status highly regarded.
Significant experience delivering mechanical engineering projects within mining minerals processing or heavy industrial environments.
Proven experience leading multidisciplinary projects within a consulting and/or site-based environment.
Strong technical expertise in materials handling bulk solids process plant piping and mechanical systems design.
Demonstrated ability to develop and review technical documentation including calculations specifications reports and engineering deliverables.
Excellent project management skills including resource planning workload forecasting and managing multiple priorities concurrently.
Strong client-facing and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build lasting relationships and contribute to business development activities.
Creative and solutions-focused mindset with a proven ability to overcome technical and project delivery challenges.
