Lead Consultant | Waste Management

As a Lead Consultant you will be responsible for delivering waste management projects from concept through to completion while maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing waste management strategies and technical reports for a range of development projects
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting budgets and deadlines
• Assessing development proposals against relevant waste management standards and guidelines
• Providing practical and commercially viable waste solutions for residential mixed-use and commercial developments
• Liaising with clients architects planners developers and approval authorities
• Preparing scopes of work and fee proposals
• Reviewing reports and providing technical guidance to junior consultants
• Identifying opportunities to strengthen client relationships and support business growth
• Contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture

Qualifications :

• Experience in waste management consulting or a related field
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial waste management practices
• An understanding of development approval processes and relevant industry standards
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• Strong project management and organisational abilities
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
• A solutions-focused mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
