Enemix are excited to partnering with a global energy technology organisation at the forefront of power system transformation. With increasing demand for grid expertise driven by renewable integration electrification and system complexity they are expanding their grid consulting capability across the region.

We are seeking a Lead Consultant to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering strategic grid advisory services supporting clients across transmission system planning and market development.

The Opportunity

This is a senior client-facing position focused on grid consulting at a strategic level.

You will act as a trusted advisor to:

  • Utilities and network operators
  • Developers and investors
  • Government and regulatory bodies

Your focus will be on helping clients navigate:

  • Power system transformation and grid planning challenges
  • Integration of renewables and new technologies
  • Entry into and participation in evolving electricity markets

Alongside this you will contribute to building and positioning a high-value grid consulting offering aligned with emerging system and market needs.

Key Responsibilities
Grid Strategy & Advisory
  • Advise clients on grid planning system evolution and network strategy
  • Support decision-making across:
    • Transmission development
    • Grid stability and resilience
    • Renewable and storage integration
  • Translate complex power system and regulatory dynamics into clear strategic direction
Market & Opportunity Development
  • Identify emerging opportunities in grid infrastructure system services and market design
  • Shape consulting propositions aligned to grid challenges and regulatory change
  • Support the development of client solutions spanning technical regulatory and commercial considerations
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build trusted relationships with:
    • Transmission System Operators
    • Distribution Network Service Providers
    • Developers and large energy users
  • Engage with regulators and industry bodies on grid-related initiatives and reform
  • Represent the business in industry forums and technical discussions
Commercial Advisory & Bidding
  • Lead or support RfP / RfI responses shaping grid consulting scopes and solutions
  • Contribute to bid strategy pricing and commercial positioning
  • Support contract negotiations and ensure alignment with strategic and financial objectives
Internal Leadership & Capability Building
  • Collaborate across global teams to align grid consulting strategy and delivery
  • Support the development of new grid-focused services and offerings
  • Provide leadership across multidisciplinary teams contributing to grid consulting projects
What Were Looking For
Experience & Expertise
  • 8 years experience in:
    • Grid consulting power systems advisory or transmission planning
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Transmission and distribution networks
    • Grid planning and operational studies
    • System stability and performance
  • Experience working with:
    • Utilities TSOs and DSOs
    • Developers and infrastructure investors
Grid & Market Knowledge
  • Familiarity with:
    • Grid codes and compliance frameworks
    • Renewable integration challenges
    • Grid technologies (e.g. HVDC FACTS storage grid stabilisation)
  • Understanding of how technical grid challenges link to market and investment decisions
Strategic & Commercial Capability
  • Ability to connect technical grid issues with commercial and strategic outcomes
  • Experience in:
    • Opportunity shaping
    • Client advisory
    • Bid and proposal development
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
Leadership & Communication
  • Confident operating at senior stakeholder level
  • Ability to communicate complex grid concepts in a clear strategic and commercial way
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across cross-functional and global teams
