We are pleased to confirm that in 2027 Avant Law will be offering a Graduate Program which includes an on-site 18 week Practical Legal Training (PLT) program in partnership with The College of Law for three law graduates across Brisbane Melbourne and Sydney. This will be a 12 month fixed term contract with rotations across four different practice OverviewWe are seeking one motivated Graduate Lawyer to join our team in Melbourne. This program will combine an 18 week PLT with the College of Law with real responsibility and autonomy working at Avant Law providing an excellent opportunity for professional development in a dynamic legal environment. Avant Law (Medical Indemnity) is Australias largest specialist medico-legal law firm. Over 12 months you will have the opportunity to rotate every three months through a range of different practice areas including:Civil litigation (claims for compensation against Avant members)Professional conduct claims (i.e. Medical Board investigations coronial inquiries Medicare)Workplace LawAvant Law (Commercial) provides tailored legal advice to Australian practitioners and other clients each year.
