Davies Collison Cave Law (DCCL) offers a focused IntellectualProperty (IP) Law clerkship program. The program enables you togain hands on experience in a Top Tier IP law firm workingalongside world leading IP lawyers.

The work you will undertake will be contentious anduncontentious IP work including major IP litigation (ofteninternational) covering all the IP statutory regimes AustralianConsumer Law and associated contractual administrative proceduraland evidentiary law. The DCCL Seasonal Clerkship Program

Our three-week clerkship program is designed to immerse you inintellectual property law from day one.

At DCCL we believe the best way to learn is by doing - soinstead of sitting through weeks of induction you will hit theground running. Your experience will include working alongside andbeing supervised by our Principals and senior practitioners on realmatters.

Our clerkship is hands-on providing experience across a widerange of industries and cutting-edge technologies with both ourlocal and international clients.

Whether it is researching to assist in shaping legal strategy orsupporting a global brands IP portfolio you will be right in themiddle of the action - learning contributing and making animpact.

The key attributes we are looking for in a SeasonalClerk

• You must be completing your penultimate year of a law degree.
• A science or engineering qualification in addition to your law degree is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong English communication skills both verbal and written.
• A penchant for carrying out analytical and detailed work.
• An appreciation for the delivery of superior client professional services.
• A personal drive and motivation friendly disposition and team orientation.
• An excellent academic record.
• Proven time management skills.
