Laundry & Cleaning Attendants

HammondCare Caulfield is currently looking for Casual Laundry and Cleaning Attendants

HammondCare has a unique model of care which places the residents needs as our number one priority. As a part of the Support Services Team you will support our model of care by delivering high quality services within the Domestic Supportto our residents in accordance with the organisational mission and mission in action statement.

As a Laundry Attendant you will be comfortable with the following duties:

• Collect launder process and delivery of professionally cleaned linen to internal and external customers
• Communicate with Managers and other staff to ensure timely action & completion of laundry related issues
• Actively seeks improved work methods and implements HammondCare policies and procedures relevant to the role

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts including weekends
• MUST have Cleaning experience in a commercial environment
• MUST be willing to communicate with people living with dementia
• Value teamwork but also be able to work independently and show initiative
• Follow all cleaning guidelines & schedules for all equipment & working surfaces
• Demonstrated understanding of safe manual handling and standard precautions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
