Laundry Assistant

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Laundry Assistants to join our busy production team.

Employment Type: Part Time (09:00am-2:00pm)

Monday to Friday (25 hours per week)

About the Role

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced commercial laundry environment. You will assist with processing linen from start to finish helping ensure our facilities receive clean and professionally prepared linen.

Your duties will include:

• Sorting personal laundry for our aged care facilities and scrubs for our Aegis Health hospital.
• Operating industrial washers dryers and ironer/folder equipment
• Inspecting linen for cleanliness and quality
• Folding packing and preparing linen orders for dispatch
• Picking and packing linen based on order lists
• Maintaining safe work practices and hygiene standards
• Working collaboratively to meet daily production targets

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Physical capability for manual handling tasks and working on your feet
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• A positive reliable and can-do attitude

Desirable:

• Previous experience in commercial or healthcare laundry
