Responsibilities:
As a Landscaping Estimator your primary responsibilities will include:
- Site Visits: Conducting on-site visits to assess clients landscaping needs.
- Project Evaluation: Analysing project requirements considering factors such as space soil quality sunlight and client preferences.
- Cost Estimation: Providing accurate and detailed cost estimates for landscaping projects.
- New Work On Site Liaison: Initial consult with teams on site prior to commencement of works.
- Client Consultation: Collaborating with clients to understand their vision and offering professional advice on suitable design hardscaping elements and overall design concepts.
- Proposal Development: Creating comprehensive proposals outlining project scope timelines and cost breakdowns.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborating with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
- Client Communication: Maintaining clear and regular communication with clients throughout the estimation and project planning process.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Landscaping Estimator or in a similar role within the landscaping industry.
- In-depth knowledge of construction techniques and landscaping principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using estimation software and tools or ability to learn our system.
- A degree or certification in horticulture landscape design or a related field is a plus.
