About The Opportunity

Bundaberg Regional Council is seeking reliable and hardworking Labourers to join our Water Services role supports the maintenance construction and operation of Councils water network and infrastructure. Duties may include:

  • Pipe laying and water main repairs
  • Flushing networks and chlorinating new installations
  • Meter reading and clearing blockages
  • Operating plant vehicles and equipment relevant to the work area
  • Maintaining safe and compliant work sites
  • Completing required documentation and following Council procedures

About You

To be successful you will have:

  • Relevant experience in labouring civil construction or water infrastructure works
  • Demonstrated ability to safely perform physical tasks
  • Strong understanding of safe work practices and manual handling
  • Current MR Drivers Licence (or ability to obtain)
  • General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Relevant RII plant tickets including skid steer & excavator are desirable
  • Confined Space Entry Working at Heights First Aid & CPR etc. are desirable

All licences and qualifications must be current.
