Reporting into the Maintenance Supervisor this rolewillsee youwork in minor construction sitesoperatinghandand power tools digging trenches backfill holes compacting or removing earth and mixingpouringand spreading concrete.

You will also support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters electricians and landscaping your responsibilitieswillinclude lawn care tasks such as mowing trimming edging and weed management as well as undertaking duties and tasks.

Work Schedule:Monday toThursday0730- 1600Hrsand Friday 0730-1330Hrs(38-hourweek)

EssentialResponsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of tasks to support the organization in its undertaking of the Vesta contract requirements which include but is not limited operating hand and power tools digging trenches backfill holes compacting or removing earth and mixing pouring and spreading concrete. You will also support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters electricians and landscaping your responsibilities will include lawn care tasks such as mowing trimming edging and weed management as well as undertaking duties and tasks

• Support of trades and other personnel andassistin other areas of facilities and maintenance area from time to time as

• Undertake all work in a safe and professional manner ensuring that safety is an integral part of everydayactivities

• Comply withcompany safety procedures and report and incidents to management as a priority

• Completeallocatedtasks within requiredtimeframesandmaintaincompliance with company procedures

• Use of computer systems to record and plan work tasks

• Other duties as directed by the Vesta Management Team

About You:

• Valid HR DriversLicence

• Previousexperience within carpentry electrical or plumbing trades would be highly regarded

• oodcommunication skills - verbal and written

• Strong compliance with safety with a proven history in safe work practices

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Ability to work professionally with minimal supervision

• Working at heights (desirable)

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and successfully complete assigned tasks

• Demonstrated ability toidentifyand analyze issues and develop solutions to problems
