About the Role

In this role the successful applicant will:

  • Design and deliver engaging play-based learning programsthat create purposeful playrich learning experiences that spark curiosity inclusion and discovery
  • Create inclusive stimulating and child-led learning environments that that encourage purposeful interaction and exploration that prepares children confidently for Prep by building foundational skills aligned with the Australian Curriculum
  • Build warm nurturing relationshipsthat foster each childs sense of belonging and emotional safety while modelling and embedding Christian values that inspire confidence character growth and a strong sense of personal potential.
  • Develop respectful and supportive partnershipswith families colleagues and the wider community to scaffold each childs individual learning journey.
  • Provide Insightful Child Development observations assessments and evaluations of childrens skills behaviours and progress to plan meaningful next steps and identify when additional support or assessment is needed.

You will also bring:

  • Experience in delivering the Australian Curriculum in Early Learning education and care preferably in a stand alone kindergarten environment
  • Minimum Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) ACECQA recognised
  • Certificate CPR (HLTAID009) (or willing toattain)
  • Certificate - First Aid in an Education Setting (HLTAID012) (or willing toattain)
  • Child Protection (Geccko) Certificateor ability to obtain
