In this role you can expect to:

  • Takecharge of a vibrant Preschool program leading a dedicated team of educatorswhile ensuring alignment with the National Quality Framework and legislativerequirements.
  • Designand evaluate engaging educational programs that cater to the unique needs ofchildren fostering their growth in a safe and stimulating environment.
  • Workclosely with parents and family members encouraging their active involvementin their childs learning journey and program development through a supportiveParent Committee.
  • Enhanceyour skills and knowledge by participating in tailored training programsensuring you stay at the forefront of early childhood education practices.
  • Play acrucial role in developing and implementing the Quality Improvement Planmaking a tangible difference in the educational outcomes for children of allabilities.

To be successful youllhave:

  • A Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) ora Bachelor of Early Childhood Education with demonstrated experience inteaching in a pre-school environment.
  • VIT registration a WwCC and experience inNQF EYLF and VEYLDF.
  • An excellent understanding of and ability toapply and adopt relevant policies standards and regulationsinto the teaching program.
  • Sound knowledge of the issues and needs thataffect young children and their families and experience in applying strategiesto support inclusive practice and positive outcomes for children.
  • Experience in providing a positive teamculture through leadership and staff management.
  • Strong organisational skills and the abilityto prioritise work.
  • Excellent oral and written communicationskills.
