IT Support Officer

Your Impact:

As a Full Time IT Support Office you will:

• Providefirst-line and selected second-line support to users across the organisation including support for end-user technology Microsoft 365 services user access and site connectivity.
• Assist users to effectively use approved technology and ICT processes and provides onsite support across Perth metropolitan and regional Good Sammy locations where required.
• Deliver a consistent professional and well-documented ICT support service by resolving routine issues independently and escalating more complex matters appropriately

What you will do:

• Respond to troubleshoot and resolve ICT incidents and service requests through the Service Desk.
• Provide support across Perth metropolitan and regional Good Sammy sites as required.
• Provide practical guidance coaching and basic training to users on Microsoft 365 end user technology ICT systems and standard processes where required.
• Support Microsoft 365 Windows devices user accounts access printing AV and common business applications.
• Provision configure and laptops desktops mobile devices and associated peripherals.
• Support site connectivity and network equipment including Wi-Fi wireless access points routers and related network hardware.
• Complete onboarding role changes and offboarding activities including account creation access changes licensing and device allocation.
• Maintain accurate ticket notes asset records user access information and support documentation.
• Undertake scheduled site visits equipment replacements and basic preventative maintenance activities.
• Escalate complex application infrastructure network or cyber security issues to the GM ICT or approved external support providers where required.
• Identify recurring support issues and contribute to knowledge articles standard operating procedures and service improvements.

What you will bring:

• Experience supporting Microsoft Intune Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience supporting basic networking and site connectivity including Wi-Fi wireless access points and routers.
• Experience supporting mobile devices printers AV equipment or POS technology.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications or formal ICT qualifications.
• Experience working in a multi-site retail community services or not-for-profit environment.
• Exposure to IT service management practices ticketing systems and knowledge-based documentation.
• Experience assisting users with technology adoption basic training or self-service support.
• An interest in developing broader skills across cloud cyber security networking or Microsoft technologies.
