Job Summary
Join our Downer Professional Servicesteam and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australias future.
Downer Professional Services comprises of three business units our Technical Advisory and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer which partners with CASG and NSSG as a major service provider to Defence. Together we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for clients across Defenceand National Security.
We currently have an opportunity for an IT Security Manager in Canberra to manage and oversee the security within the ADF Electronic Flight Bag (ADF EFB) and Air Movements Tasking and Control System (AMTACS) capabilities.
What Youll Do
Monitoring and maintaining system security investigating and managing security incidents providing security risk and compliance advice.
Reporting security matters to system owners and stakeholders and maintaining security accreditation and governance documentation.
Provide support to Senior Engineering Manager ensuring security activities remain aligned with Defence security requirements and Capability Manager priorities.
Engaging with defence stakeholders industry partners and support providers to ensure cyber security risks are effectively managed and system authorisation is maintained throughout the capability lifecycle.
What Youll Bring
Formal qualifications in Information Security Cyber Security Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience performing the duties of an Information Technology Security Manager (ITSM) within a Defence Government or complex enterprise ICT environment.
- Strong understanding and practical application of the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) and associated cyber security policies.
- Experience supporting system security accreditation assessment and authorisation activities including the maintenance of security documentation and risk assessments.
- Demonstrated experience administering supporting or governing Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions including cloud-hosted MDM environments and security controls for mobile platforms.
- Experience providing cyber security advice and support to business operational and technical stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication skills with an ability to produce high-quality technical governance and administrative documentation.
Due to the nature of the work you are required to currently hold a AGSVA Clearance as required by the some instances compliance withInternational Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
