The role

Demand on our services has created an opportunity for an juniorto mid-level IT Project Manager to join our national InformationTechnology team based in Melbourne. The IT Project Manager isresponsible for planning executing and delivering technologyprojects that support business objectives. This role ensuresprojects are delivered on time within scope within budget andmeet agreed quality standards. The IT Project Manager works closelywith business stakeholders vendors technology teams andleadership to successfully implement IT solutions and drivecontinuous improvement.

Reporting to the Senior Program Manager the keyresponsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows;

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects including infrastructure applications systems implementation and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Assist with the development of project plans schedules budgets resource requirements and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks issues and dependencies.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders technology teams vendors and external partners.
  • Support business readiness and organisational change activities.
  • Contribute to project management standards tools and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing IT projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies ideally PRINCE2
  • Experience within a professional services legal financial services or corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets timelines risks and stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent communication facilitation and presentation skills.
