Job Summary

Flourish Australia has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified staff member to develop their career with us as the Acting Regional Manager Employment Services!

The leave relief position available is:

  • Closed-term Full-time from 12 August 2026 to 25 August 2026
  • Working Monday to Friday (with some on-call responsibilities)
  • Based in Sydney overseeing the Community Businesses & Employment Services throughout Flourish Australia travel may be required
  • Level 8 on the Flourish Australia Enterprise Agreement (2018)
About this Opportunity

The Regional Manager Employment Services oversees the efficient delivery of Flourish Australias community businesses and Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program.

The Regional Manager Employment Services will lead the delivery of highquality Employment Services providing strong operational leadership and ensuring the service runs smoothly and effectively. This includes managing budgets staff and property resources in line with organisational values and under the guidance of the General Manager Services. Youll drive a responsive recoveryoriented approach that empowers people with a lived experience of mental health challenges to achieve their vocational goals while also ensuring your team receives the supervision guidance and support they need to thrive.

Selection Criteria

Essential

  1. A diploma or degree in the behavioural sciences employment services or related discipline.
  2. At least5 years experience in a relevant supervisory role.
  3. Demonstrated engagement collaboration and negotiation skills with the capability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
  4. Demonstrated experience delivering financial management and reporting of business activities.
  5. Demonstrated experience administering complex policy and commercial business matters including commercial tendering and procurement.
  6. Demonstrated experience in leading the implementation of policies and programs and provide initiative and have the ability to formulate implement monitor and evaluate projects and programs.
  7. Demonstrated experience in planning and directing daily production activities.
  8. Current Australian Drivers Licence.
