Job Summary
Are you a skilled internal communications professional who can turn complex organisational priorities into clear engaging and inclusive messages SSI is seeking an Internal Corporate Affairs Specialistto help strengthen the way we listen communicate and connect with our people across a diverse purpose-driven to the Head of Corporate Affairs this role will drive day-to-day internal communications and employee engagement activity across SSI. You will work closely with the Office of the CEO executive leaders People and Culture and teams across the organisation to deliver communications that keep staff informed supported and connected to SSIs purpose strategy culture and this role you will design and deliver internal communication plans play an important role in internal engagement forums and organisational change and support leaders with the tools advice and messaging they need to communicate effectively. You will have a strong focus on communications measurement using staff feedback mechanisms data and insights to continuously improve how SSI communicates with its the roleYou will:Develop and deliver clear inclusive and engaging internal communications across business-as-usual activity and change internal communication channels such as newsletters intranet content briefing materials and with leaders and teams to strengthen internal communication capability and support best-practice use of key online employee engagement forums and events that support culture connection and organisational and report on communication effectiveness using surveys feedback tools and digital to broader corporate affairs priorities including advocacy campaigns media activity and events during high-volume youYou are a confident communicator with strong judgement excellent writing skills and the ability to tailor messages for different audiences and channels. You enjoy working in a fast-paced collaborative environment and can manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy clarity and will bring:Tertiary qualifications in Communications Public Relations Marketing or a related in internal communications corporate communications or a similar role ideally within a complex not-for-profit or purpose-led experience designing delivering and evaluating internal communication and engagement understanding of change management principles and how to apply them in communications stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with executives leaders and staff at all digital and data literacy including the ability to use insights and analytics to improve communication to pivot into some external communications activities to support the broader Corporate Affairs UsSettlement Services International (SSI Group) is a community-based organisation and social business that supports newcomers and Australians to achieve their full potential.
