The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) professional to join our Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ILS specialist to play a key role in supporting the delivery of a nationally significant Defence capability program. You will contribute to the development integration and management of logistics and sustainment solutions that enable effective capability delivery throughout the lifecycle.

Working closely with Defence industry partners engineering teams and multidisciplinary project stakeholders you will provide ILS expertise coordinate key support activities and help shape supportability outcomes across complex GWEO projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and management of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities across GWEO projects.
  • Define develop and manage key logistics support elements including Maintenance Planning Supply Support and Obsolescence Management Technical Data and Documentation Facilities and Infrastructure Requirement Disposal Planning
  • Coordinate the development review and validation of ILS products support documentation and technical artefacts.
  • Collaborate with Defence stakeholders engineering teams and project managers to ensure logistics requirements are embedded throughout project delivery.
  • Identify and manage logistics risks issues and dependencies while supporting governance and reporting activities.
  • Provide logistics and sustainment advice to support informed project and capability decisions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the development of logistics management processes.

As the ideal candidate you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering Integrated Logistics Support within Defence acquisition sustainment or capability programs.
  • Strong knowledge of ILS principles lifecycle logistics and supportability analysis.
  • Experience in maintenance planning supply support technical documentation obsolescence management and disposal planning.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Logistics Engineering Supply Chain Project Management or a related discipline are desirable.
  • Minimum AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance and Australian citizenship required to be eligible.
