Job Summary

As Coordinator of our Integrated Family Services (IFS) Team based in Footscray youll play a central role in shaping high-quality relational support for families. Youll guide your team with clarity and compassion ensuring strong practice meaningful supervision continuous learning and nurturing a culture of where collaboration inclusivity and connection are embedded into our Sanctuary commitments.

About the role

An Integrated Family Services Coordinator is responsible for leading the delivery of holistic family-centred support to children young people and their families who are experiencing vulnerability or risk. The role focuses on coordinating tailored interventions that promote safety stability and wellbeing while strengthening family capacity and resilience. This includes conducting comprehensive assessments developing and reviewing support plans and working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders such as schools health services and community organisations. The coordinator plays a key role in ensuring services are culturally responsive and trauma-informed while also monitoring outcomes managing risk and maintaining accurate documentation. Strong communication case management and partnership-building skills are essential to effectively support families and achieve sustainable positive outcomes.

This is a fulltime opportunity based throughout the Footscray region within our IFS Program. This position reports to the Manager Community and Disability Programs

Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering child youth and family services using a family-centred trauma-informed and strengths-based approach.
  • Strong case management and assessment skills including the ability to develop implement and review tailored support plans.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with a range of stakeholders including community services schools and health providers.
  • Sound knowledge of child protection frameworks risk assessment and mandatory reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication organisational and documentation skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate case records.

You must have a:

  • Valid and current Drivers Licence.
  • Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop);
  • Valid Employee Working with Children Check;
